"Rain" - von Leia

The air was dank and moist and not yet filled with the stench of evil. Green trees stretched on for miles behind her, but in front of her there were already dozens of stumps. She descended from Auriel, her black warg. With a pad on the back she signaled for him to leave and find a save place. With his gleaming blue eyes he looked at her as though asking if she was sure. “Go on, I will call you when I need you.” She whispered. With hesitation the giant creature left the way they came from, deeper into the forest.
Swiftly she climbed the nearest tall, green tree as to have a better lookout above the Orc encampment.
She did not have the eyes of an elve or of a ranger, but the purpose of the encampment was clearly visible. A horde of ten to fifteen orcs, speckled with a few Uruk-Hais in between set up cages of various sizes. So the rumors were true after all, she thought.
The woods were home to various beasts, which the orcs had to catch and tame for the service of their dark lord. “Not on my watch.” She whispered.
Her plan was to kill most of the orcs and spread terror in the hearts of the survivors. The forest was already a terrifying place for them and with a bit of help maybe they would stay out of it forever.

Or at least she was able to buy the inhabitants of the forest more time. Anyway, she had to try her best.
With her shadow kill tactic she already had somewhat of a reputation among the lower orc ranks.
A small group of three orcs split from the camp and ventured along her tree into the forest.
Soft-footed she left her tree and followed them, all the while hidden in the shadows.
The orcs talked to each other in their foul language, of which she could only understand bits and pieces. But what she heard gave her more and more courage. “Dangerous beasts.” And “Silver shadow”, which was one of the names given to her by the terrified orcs she had spared at the Eastfold. Maybe her influence on their minds was stronger than she had thought.
She positioned herself on a small mount only a small distance from the three orcs and with a quick grip she readied her bow. They walked slowly, with their backs to her. The first orc, closest to her was hit by a head shot. Even before the others could react she sank her arrow into the second one.
The third orc turned around, but she had already drawn her silver flashing sword and with a small jump she was upon him. They both fell to the ground and she came up on top of him. With one hand she held her sword to his throat; with the other she motioned him to be silent. Even though the encampment was far away already, she kept the possibility in mind, that there were already more orcs in the forest.
“What is your plan?” she asked. “Why should I tell you, bitch?” he spit right back. “You’re gonna kill me anyway!” His frog eyes were wide open with terror and fear. Good, she thought.
“Maybe I won’t. I’ll need someone to spread the message of the haunted forest, don’t I?”
At that the orc’s eyes started to glimmer. Simple things, these orcs. No honor. As long as they don’t get killed they are happy, no matter the consequences.
“I, I can do that! Belug’s the name! I’ll tell every last one of the other orcs your bloody terribleness!” he floundered more and more. She suppressed a laughter, this was too simple. “Answer my question.” She pressed her blade into his throat until blood trickles. “Alright, alright! They want us to capture some monsters!” “A few orcs and Uruks? Impossible. What’s your secret?”
“No secret, really! It’s just our captain. He’s different than all else. He’s got that connection with the animals, you know? Breaks them, controls them!” She bites her lips. This was bad. She had heard of this, of course. Some of the elite Uruk-hais were bewitched and they had incredible strength. But she had never actually met one of them.
“Belug has told you everything he knows! Now let him go!” the orc cried out. With a small motion of the arm her blade had cut his neck.
She knew she had to report to Elrond, tell him the strongest Uruks were sent out of Mordor, but she also knew she had to keep the animals safe. If Mordor had some of the ferocious beasts which lived here on his side everything would be even worse. To make an example of her kill she took some of the rope she had and hung one of the orcs with her arrow in his brain onto a close tree with a low hanging branch.
Then she went back to the encampment all the while thinking about a good plan.
